Any here? I asked this question before and didn't get too far so trying it again, wondering what your diet might look like

i was a few years ago for 2 years. my gf at the time was one so it was easy and she lived with me.

my diet was veggies, some fruit, brown rice, pasta, cage free eggs, ezekial bread, oatmeal, waffles/pancakes.. i wasn't commited like i am today to bodybuilding but i was still pretty muscular.. as long as you are getting in the carbs you can easily build muscle on this type of diet i don't care what anyone says, i was still able to bench 90 pounds more than i weighed naturally and that is strong for anyone, even most guys who eat red meat and are on 1 gram of juice.

Pescetarian any good to you?

yes cole, I actually eat some sushi the odd time :D, would love to hear your diet and anything else you could throw my way

thanks for the answers everyone else, I've been vegetarian coming up on a year now and I am as muscular as I've ever been and strong, I find since going veg my stamina has increased dramatically

^^ the only people who say vegetarians can't build muscle are the guys who never tried it.

really if you work out and feed your muscles you are creating an anabolic body right there.. even today I do not eat very much meat.

I completely agree! The staple to my diet is sweet potatoes, brown rice, and whole wheat pasta. Besides the occasional chicken/organic beef, I don't eat much meat and I still make amazing gains.

Basically it's very simple.
I don't eat meat at all, I don't eat wheat or corn either so pretty much no bread or pastries.

Eggs and beans for breakfast

Berries fruit and nuts for snacks, (I avoid citrus fruit)

Plenty of rice always brown, never white.

Plenty of veggies obviously! Personal fav is broccoli.

And fish twice a day, fresh fish as often as possible. Tuna tartare is a favourite. Haven't yet tried sushi but I plan to give it a go.

The other thing I do is I have a lot of dairy, I know it bloats a lot of people but I've never had that problem. Not suggesting you add it that's just me.

Since cutting meat and wheat my BF% has dropped a lot faster, went from 15% to 12.9% in just under 3 weeks, my energy levels are way up. Eating is soo much easier now I actually have to check myself to make sure I'm not eating too much whereas before I had to force it down my throat to break 3,000 cals per day, now I can clear 4,000 easily :)

I started this diet as an experiment into a theory I came across recently in another thread, it's eating right for your blood type, it's quite controversial, and many people don't buy it but it's worked amazingly well for me. If you're interested in learning more about it PM me your email address and I'll send you the book as a PDF file.

this is exactly close to my diet. its carb heavy and the results are tremendous.

i do eat 100% grassfed beef, and some organic chicken/turkey. but like you it isn't often. once a day tops
