Yeah their made to help in training since the bar is more stable on your back and pulls forward to let your hands grip easier.

I don't think so dude, that's one of those cheap ass chrome bars that ain't worth shit nor have any tensile strength.

It was bent on his back but when dropped the arch increased by like 4 inches. The guys knee's practically buckled every rep and bench he was using as a box was at least 2 inches too high, that's why he was using a bench to box squat on instead of a box, a cheap bar and had two morons spotting him.

Look where the bar meets the collars there's a formed bend on both sides, I think the bar did bend some due to the drop but it's a bowed bar to start with. But yeah the guy was doing just about everything wrong.

Okay this is attempt number two at replying to this.

I see bars bend in the racks all of the time, especially chrome bars but this is not a buffalo bar. The only place I know of to buy "chrome bow bars" is midwest barbell... no offense Big nate but i think they are crap and I don't think this is what this cat is using.

The bar isn't bent too bad in the rack or after he steps under the bar but when he almost dumps it on number two and when his buddy on the left yanks it, it seems to get worse all of the sudden, the bend anyways...

The guy doesn't seem to know how to squat well but is strong as shit, he's sportin Rickey Dale Crain knee wraps, is not holding the bar because again he doesn't know how to squat or stay tight in any way, he's got a cheap belt on, and his buddy on the right is sporting the old bucket hat / footies / soccer house slippers look worn by a lot of "strongmen!!!!"

Had to get a dig somehow, personally don't think it's a buffalo bar just a cheap bar and good video, get him some gear and a day at Westside and you could read about him in Powerlifting USA>>>

www.anabolex.com His handle is "strongerthanall" this is not the first video he has posted. I have heard him say he does most of his box squatting with a buffalo bar. That resembles the buffalo bar i used to train on, kind of hard to tell though. But i am pretty sure it is a buffalo bar.

That does look a lot like the Buffalo Bar at IronMind.com, but the sleeves at both ends of the barbell in the video are bent in the same direction as the curve of the barbell just before the sleeves. This makes it look like the entire barbell is bent by accident

I watched it using freeze frames. The bar is bent slightly on the way down but once it hits the bottom of the rack the bend at least doubles in degree.
