Well stated, Needsize. You look fairly bulked up in your video, and I think 245 is the highest weight I have seen you boast. The arm size threads are funny. Just remember, a 17" arm ripped, trumps the 19" bulked up arm anyday.

I was actually 256lbs at about 11% on monday, the 245lbs in that video was between 12-13%, it was about 8 months ago. The arms in my avatar are only 18.5, they were just under 19.5 this week

greatest is right about benching, a heavy bench isnt necessarily a sign of anything. I couldnt bench 315 for a single when I started to juice, and that was after 10 years of training, but my bench has always sucked. I had 17" arms at 7% bf, 185lbs, 5'8", and could deadlift 550 for a raw single, but a shitty bench

man i feel like the end of this cycle will get me there...

i put up 270x4 quite easily..

but 315x1 is still a struggle.
thats the only thing thats been on my mind for the last few hours...
anyhow, just thought i'd share.

I'm not about to read all these replies. If this has been said then I'll just back it up some more.

Try this for 3 sets of 4. When you do it over and over bump the weight 5-10 more pounds and do this 3 x 4. Bump the weight again.

You'll be amazed at how quick you'll hit your goal.

Something that's worked really well for me on incline and flat barbell is the Muscle Media "How to gain 50" program. I run it for the whole cycle for low reps 6,5,4,3,2's. Anyway, I get crazy gains w/ this program google search it.

Let's get your groove on bro...you already took out the mighty paulo...(cough) .. lol..just giving ya crap satch, u'll get there fast..

This is true, some guys go to the gym and all the do is bench, but they look like crap. There form sucks and there bouncing that shit of there chest so hard it's going to crack something. They don't ever train legs etc, but brag about there bench. For me my bench has been pretty good, 425x1 390x3, 365x7, 315x13 strict form slow on the way down touch and up, but my deads suck. I can almost bench as much as my deads, got to work on those damn! Point is it's about overall developement and Satch, NS, looks like you guys are doing pretty damn good in that department. Satch it doesn't matter what you can bench, just what it "looks" like you can. You don't carry a barbell down the beach.

lol. That's so true. but dam, your benches are pretty strong. 315x13 !!

I believe Powerlifting and Body building are two different things a require different training methods.

I really try not to pay attention to the numbers and rely more on how I feel.

I feel that once I start thinking about the numbers that's when I mentally start limiting myself.

I benched 275 or 285 at a weight of 173 when I was 18. It took a couple small cycles to get to 365x2. My first cycle was just 100 Dbol tabs and the second was 10cc of test & another 100 Dbol tabs over about 8-9 weeks.
