I'm not really calling you a hater. I just knew that there would be a lot more of them coming out of the woodwork. I have read a lot of your posts in the past, and know that you aren't b.s.'ing because I have seen your pics. My original intent on posting to this thread was to perhaps supply Satch with some ideas that have helped me with my bench. In the future, I think I'll refrain from making any remarks about what I can do, until I have the equipment to film, download, and link up. There's always someone that tries to make themselves feel better by downing your accomplishments. I'm not going to say anything about the poundages that you claim. I'll just say that I lift more than you, but I don't look anywhere near as good. At the end of the day, I would trade my 315x15 bench even up for a good looking set of abs in a heartbeat.

I wasnt ripping on anyone in particular, and didnt doubt your 315 x 15. My point was that the claims I read on here, across the board are generally tough to believe. For example, on the "how big are your arms" threads, there are tons of guys posting up arms way bigger than mine. But when I post pics, many of the same guys are like "Holy shit, I wish I was that big", which doesnt add up. I have no doubt that there are many that can back up their claims, but at the same time I know there are also a lot that cant. I would never rip on someone because they could do better than me, in all my years here I have never done that because its just not me.

dial_tone, i am definitely with you on that one. When I hit a new max, its generally a full set, ie, this week I squatted 465 x 6, and benched 370 x 5, which were both pr's for me, but at this point I wouldnt dream of doing singles

I'm sorry satchboogie, but if your doing cycles like you say you are(1000mg. of sust. and 50mg. of d-bol/day) then there is something wrong with you if you can't hit 315 at your size. No offense, I just thought you looked like you could do reps with more than that. just my 2cc's

Well stated, Needsize. You look fairly bulked up in your video, and I think 245 is the highest weight I have seen you boast. The arm size threads are funny. Just remember, a 17" arm ripped, trumps the 19" bulked up arm anyday.

I think the key is form here. Alot of guys manage to manipulate their form in a way the allows the weight to go up. IE. The bounce off the chest, ass off the bench, halfway down reps, spotter pulling on it like he's doing upright rows.

And these weight room hero's rant and rave afterward that they nailed 315. Benching a weight for me is when you are in complete control of the movement from start to finish. It has to be a fluid movement from start to finish and if your spotter touches the bar then "sorry" you just did not pull it.

Also look a satch's body, that is what bodybuilding is about, some may pull more then him but you could never tell by looking at him.

Throw your pic up hoss.

lol, I don't have one right now but I will soon. I thought he looked big. I don't think anyone touch juice though if you can't get a measily 315 pound bench naturally. Anyone can get that bench with hard work and food. I would say the high 3's or low 4's is where you should start to juice to get better gains. I think many would agree with building a strong base before turning to steroids.

Genetics plays a big part man, some people pull better some push better. I know kids with tooth pic arms that can rep 225 at 170 pounds. You look at their bird chests and lack of tris and wonder how, but it's all genetics.

Benching is not a true measure of strength either, it's a macho ego exercise. Give me deadlift numbers for some real power.
