Alan Wake could be the best looking console game I've seen

Meh, I may have jumped the gun on the "best looking console game" statement.

The actual gameplay doesn't seem to look as good as that tech demo after watching this developer walkthrough

Lots of aliasing, screen tearing, inconsistent textures, etc. Plus most of the game is masked in darkness so of course it's easy for the effects to look good lol. Although I still think the dynamic lighting is impressive, and the dynamic weather system could be too if it's anything like what was in that original clip I posted.

I stick to my statement "BulletStorm" will be an AMAZING game, running on the Epic/Unreal Engine. Think Gears of War, with tons of attention on cut scenes, and much more in depth weapons. More kill styles, style kill points, combo attacks, full interaction with the environment...the write up was amazing.
