stopping bodybuilding for the winter. going to give snowboarding a try so i'm gonna try to drop a little weight and add a little agility. any suggestions for lifting routines and/or stretching routines? probably going to try to hit the slopes 2-3 times weekly so might have to cut weight training down to 2-3 days weekly. thanks!

Plyometrics. In Track, I think it was one of the greatest things to help my jumping ability and over all leg strength AND quickness. My feet were much faster. Box Jumping, speed stepping up and down off of bleachers... that shit will definately help increase your agility... IMO.

C-ditty

Diagonal or side lunges, works inner thigh (the mans way to do it) good for groin will really help you on the slopes.
Snatch grip romanian deadlift
Squat press
twisting standing dumbell shoulder press (really good for borders)
Dumbell calf jumps
Santana T-Pushups
side jumps (mainly for sking) place a line and just jump over it back and forth add variation in the amount of high and how far you go down, it works well.

Our winters have been dry here for the last 2 years which really sucks, i have to drive like 4 hours to hit the slopes...
Have fun
