A SAD WEEK FOR NY FIREFIGHTERS (very long but please read)

Very touching post Flexed1. I heard a NY Firefighter on the radio the other day saying he's lost 40 some friends due to the WTC tragedy. I cannot even begin to imagine what that would be like. May God bless your family and all the rescue workers in New York.

my brother is a firefighter and ive always looked up to him for different reasons and when he became a firefighter it was another reason for me to. those guys dont make as much money as they should and yet they still choose to do it. its because they are selfless. they put others first. i have alot of repect for them.

It takes a very special person to do what the brave men and women of this nation's fire departments do. I have the utmost respect and admiration for each and every one of them. I pray that God will keep His hand of protection around them. And that He will give comfort to those families who have lost loved ones. Finally, I just say thank you. That says it all.

but most of all, bump for New York's firefighters and cops who gave their lives to save others, and for those who are there now

The most amazing sight i have ever seen was when the towers were on fire, flames everywhere, smoke billowing out of the windows and people running away from the buildings, then you see flashes of black a green coats running toward the burning building. risking their own lives to save perfect strangers. people then have never met and probably wouldn't ever see again, the risked their own lives. theses men and women were and are hero's. they are one of gods most amazing creations.
