I like the Karma Idea and what it was intended to do. But as it has been said before, the Karma retalliation sucks. When you go to a thread that is posted by someone who is trying to learn something and then some asshole come's in and slams the whole idea...not offering data to supposrt their opinion and generally being a dick...Then you give negetive Karma simply because he screwed the whole thread into a flame fest...then he turns right around and give negative karma to you just to retaliate...is a Bad Idea.

If I had my choice, then Karma point would be awarded or taken away anonymously...oly thi thread or post would be identified.

you guys have miss read his original post. He want to get rid of newbies that are giving out detrimental advise on subjects they know nothing of. Also ones that are starting trouble.

Now that doesnt mean if a newbie has a legit argument they will be threatened to get banned. Im sure there would be warnings and such before any of this would happen. Some god thing could come out of this thread.

Personaly since i am a newbie i dont want some idiot that read something in a magazine giving me advise. Cause what am i most likely to do? Believe what he says cause i know no better.

Seems to me like there are a few with a guilty concious on this thread.

it was aimed at me originally (and maybe my "cronies").....but the poster has since made up with me so to speak. so no guilty consiensce, just fact. still is ridiculous though whether i was new or old or the owner of the site.
