7 Weeks to a Shredded ME!...

Tonights update:

Legs...
cardio bike 5 minutes.

Leg Sled: up to 4 plates/side total: 4 sets
Step-ups: 3 sets (holding 25's, 45's, then 25's again)
Front Squats: 3 sets

Cardio: HIIT treadmill 10 minutes

toast... sweating like a 300lb beast, lol.... probably from busting ass yesterday with some hardcore cardio.

Tomorrow Back.... and/or bis and tris.
Sprints also an option along with more legs... maybe some iso. movements this weekend. OLY lifts - also if they're up to par and recovered.

And cardio the rest of the week .... maybe hittin' chest again this weekend... eh, probably will.

Shopping around for a deep tissue massage therapist soon.

Adding that to my arsenal of self improvement.... it should prove to be VERY beneficial from some light research and recent advice :)

Today's diet... going well, same old foods different day... actually, i'm out of chicken, i NEED to get some mo' ASAP :chomp:

You are absolutely correct sir! I am envious! I want one SO BAD... lawd knows I need it ... huge stress reliever for me ... HEAVEN, even if just for 90 minutes ... then the high coming out of it ... make sure you stay hydrated after too ... :jarswim:
& probably reserve the following day as an OFF day :rose:

{Use Ahnold Impression Here:} Soooo pumped i was cumming all over the gym... multiple times... even driving home from the gym i was cumming.

"V" Cable pressdowns... 3 sets, ending with the whole stack ("150"lbs it says)
Standing E-Z Bar Curls Drop sets from 45's, 35's, to 25's per side
Skullies: ^^ Same set up: drop sets from 25's, 20's, 15's per side
Standing Alt. DB Curls.... I did about 5 sets overall..3 ... then went back for more later... and 2 of which were hammer curls. used from 30's - 45's
Reverse Straight Bar Curl: 35lbs and 40lbs... my forearms were going to pop by then BIG TIME... they felt HUGE.... well ok, they were HUGE, lol.... meeeeybe :)

EDIT: Forgot...

2 sets seated overhead DB press 50 and 60.
1 set single arm ^^ with a 25lb... couldn't even crank out 6, lol.


Improvised DWOS: Mass Recovery: 380 calories, 35 g. Pro, 60 g. Carbs (only 6g sugar).... I like them, but don't like shelling $4 a pop out for it.

I saw some "old powerlifter" (is what he looked like...had a full track suit on and all, lol) doing DeadLifts!!! WOOOHOOO... I think that's the 2nd person I've seen besides myself doing them so far!

ok... /update time to cook up 7 lbs of chicken...

Last nights workout:

1/2 a backworkout 80 minutes total

HighPull "leverage thingy" {total plates} 2, 4, 6x6

Busted out my "T" back tank... :evil:
DAMN... i love the lighting in my gym... I wanna take progress pics in there!

Deadlifts: 135, 225, 315, 365 ... didn't feel strong enough to hit my previous PR of 405x2 (Belt and straps used... still working on getting my grip up to par)
BB HeavyAssShrugs: 135, 225, 315, 405x6 (Belt and strapped at 315+ again)
DB Shrugs 80's, 95's, 105's (strapped only for 105's)

Some Delt work... all medial and postierior focused delt work... 5 sets

20 minutes on the Stair Mill... flying at level 15.... down to 10... 7.. .6 as lowest... 3 sets... HIIT... quick water and streching on "down time" then back on the horse.

That's a surprize... i thought i've been cutting since the end of December already :rolleyes: .... lol. {still taking the slow boat to China so to speak... but keeping and putting on LBM is hella worth it so far}

There are ALOT of prior obligations and whatnot coming up for myself during the summer months... I'd love nothing more to devote 110% effort to my lower body fat/higher LBM goals... I can say that I will put 100% effort as I always do into my goals and continue cutting until I'm where I want to be for the summer :)

I just don't want to say... "HELL YEAH" and not be able to put in my all... but I'll give a hefty Hell Yah and do the damn best I can with what time i've got like always :)

With that said... I look forward to progressing furthur towards reaching new body fat lows with you AND Bunny :supercool

I can't wait to start reading your log and see what you've got and where you want to be bro... tis the season to be cutting.

Im joining the club :) well Ill join the club, but watch from afar. I started at 285lbs looking to lean down to 245-50 (my first goal) then on my way down to 230-235 (final goal). Im at about 20% bf (yuk).

doing a CKD at the moment. Im finding that the low carbs are hindering my workouts a bit. I cant get all 10-12 reps in, where I could beofroe I started this low carb craze.

Im keeping a daily log of workouts/meals/cals/mood.

Ive lost 3 lbs this first week and I piss about every hour... not so fun while trying to sleep. I think ive only had 2 BM's this week... is that normal?

The most surprising thing for me so far has been my lack of patience now. Im about as patience and calm as anyone, if not even more so.... but now with low carbs... dont spill the milk DAMNIT!

I have only been on the CKD this week. just started. today I have been feeling great. other than 'hitting the wall' while working out.

I agree about the BM's altho when I did it was... how can I say it..... healthy? consistant? lol anyways..

Morning Basement Training commenced today.

I feel reeeeally weak in the a.m. Very used to getting in plenty of food and training later. Not sure how many days per week I'm going to do this... but even doing a few sets of some exercises in the a.m to get my metabolism elevated early on should do me right.

Incline BB Bench 5 sets
Hammer curls 3 sets

Rainy out...and yes, I AM a fair weather outside cardio person... so I'm going to the gym shortly to get in about 30 minutes of cardio. Mostly Step Mill... as long as the cardio bunnies aren't hogging it.

His form is off, i keep tellin him but he wont listen... :lmao: What YOU want out of these is steady to the top, then extend your body so that you are pointing your feet at the ceiling THEN roll your torso up so you are hanging completely upside down: this WILL take some practice, its both tricky AND very VERY hard, but the crush on your rectus abdominus is wonderbar.

Our good buddy Ghede's on me too about getting these in ... we'll have to do them together, if you're game. I can NOW just lift/hold my own body weight... wraps will help hold grips but I'm still iffy on this until I build up a little more strength or have a spot.
 
Last night trained a little bit... it was mostly to train my little protege in the art of power clean to squat... lol, his glutes were hurting he said :evil:

A few came out to my likeing... haven't had a chance to upload yet, later today maybe.... or holding out for the competition thread; not sure yet.

In the last two days, I was approached by 5 different people, all of which I took the time to help and THANK for just saying something ...

I just thanked two older gentleman this morning for the compliments, b/c they DO help push me & overall positive reinforcement is a fantasmic thing ... :) ... & never be afraid to tell someone if you see noticable changes or want to pay a compliment ... chances are you'll help them & the right people will not take it out of context :D

I love EF ... this is my home & B_Sarge helps motivate the heck outta ... now I'm the owning him on the sprints :velvett:

Been 6 days since I last trained.

Today I'm getting my diet back on track... It won't fully in order until mid-end of this week though :rolleyes: (need food).

Procrastination kicked my ass and now i'm busting ass after work everyday until i'm done my course work that's overdue. Bad Sarge..BAD! :smash:

Aiming for training the end of the week... diet on track sooner hopefully.

We will see. I WILL be back on track next week with everything without a doubt at the VERY LATEST! :chomp:

It really means alot to me right now because this "break" is not a reward it's a punishment for putting thinigs off for so long (4 months I've had to do certain things and I was all diet, training, and work). I really wish I could enjoy this... I"m overwhelmed, I'm already becoming aggitated more easily cuz I haven't trained in a week (7 days today)... We live, learn, and hopefully don't do stupid shit again, lol.

I can't wait to start eating (like I should) and training again.

On top of all this, I may be going out of state on business the end of the week as well... which will be a GREAT thing, because I won't be stuck at a desk allllll day... i'll be able to train, (maybe eat better.... aka more often than right now), and get the course work I need to get done :)

Hey, i was just thinking... isn't it interesting how I went from a total dirty bulk with just a mass building training regimine to a cutting diet with much more frequent workouts and I've put on more LBM on the cutting diet with hardcore training than my sloppy bulk?

I belive in a few different schools of thought when it comes to training theory but bombarding my body has really put on the shock treatment I needed.

And I wonder how much I'll be able to put on when I'm really eating for more size with red meats, ect in my diet...

Daily it's usually just the knee doing it's "usual" painless popping noises.

but today it's serious pain.

No major muscles involved...the pain originates just below the knee cap underneath on the inner side/corner of it...deep in there.

Cardio:

Step Mill

Gazelle thingy (forget the name) ...OH Arch Trainer.

Bike... treadmill...

sprints... everything.

^^^ I NEVER get pain during cardio.... today is the first time i felt pain in the knee.

*sigh* ... feels normal right now as of this exact momment i'm typing..we'll c how long it lasts.
 
With any injury, even though you may not feel any pain immediately, or it feels better, does NOT mean it's ok ... with the knee, you hear a popping noise? Does the knee give out sometimes? Seriously, IMHO, ice and elevate your knee ...

Not even going to get into ACL issues ...

You do NOT have to do ATF squats ... Focus on OTHER exercises that build strength in your thigh and calf muscles ... wear a brace ... implement changes NOW ... TMB ...
