I think Miami will win at home. This has been the forumla except for Phoenix dropping 2 at home and Detroit dropping 1 at home

can someone explain to me how to bet on this stuff? i.e. what does the 170/100 get me and what is 1.7 vs. 0.4? And if it says -7.5 does that mean the team just has to lose by 7.5 or less?

1.7 and .4 are the payouts for each outcome

think of it as 1.7 (or .4) * the amount of your original bet

if you win you get your original bet PLUS (original bet * paying odds)

-7.5 means the team has to WIN by at least 8

Just google "online sportsbook" or something similar. Most of those sites have pretty thorough explanations of what terms means, different types of wagers, etc.
