Hello everyone, I've registered to post this question.. I'm not sure which board was best so I just posted it here, hope this is acceptable to the mods.

yes thats my real height and weight.. :( I am tired of being a skeleton. I really just want to gain weight and put some meat on my bones, I dont care if it is muscle or fat.

Some background, I usually wake up late every day and skip breakfast, I eat a small lunch and dinner. I usually have some snacks in between such as some ice cream cones, crackers, cookies, etc.. However I don’t really eat much, I have always been very thin and im not really all that into food.

I need to get some kind of organization going, wake up early eat a big breakfast, keep track of cals and intake, take multi-vitamins, etc. I'm just not sure how I can put it all together and exactly what I need to do to make it most effective. I am open to any suggestions.

Also what kind weight gainer/supplement drink do you all recommend? I've seen some powders and stuff you can mix that has upwards of 2000 cals. Should I take this stuff 3 times a day?

I am a weakling and am not interested in working out, I think I just need to eat and gain some weight to start.. my first goal is to gain 20 lbs, and ultimately I want to get into the "normal" weight range for my height and look decent. (in other words not a skin and bones stick)

Thanks so much for any help, I can't even get health insurance because I'm so underweight, I really want to beat this problem..

I don't get it, it sounds like you know exactly what you need to do. How old are you? If you are under 21, you might still grow into your body some. Otherwise, just like you said, you need to start eating larger and more regular meals. Weight gain shakes can help, but you need to change your diet first, thats the problem.

thanks but im looking for serious replies as this is a serious problem.. i'm 19 years old by the way
Just playing bro. Just eat and eat some more and do no cardio you will start to gain eventually.

Are you a male or a female?

Increase your complex carbohydrate intake, take a multivitamin, and try working out a little. It's quite fun if you can get yourself to start. The 2000 calorie shakes you are referring to taste like ass. Have you tasted ass? It's not good. Stick with regular food, and look into "weight gainers" later on. If you're a girl try pregnancy, you will gain wait (this is a joke).

EAT EVERYTHING! :RADAR

EVERY FUCKING THING YOU CAN GET YOUR HANDS ON!!!

You'll gain something..........fat, muscle, whatever!!!!

EAT YOU BASTARD!!!!!!

Well, forget the supplements. You need real food. Gaining fat weight is not the same as muscle weight, for the simple reason that fat will be bad for your health in the long term. So focus yourself to gain muscle weight. Then go to a doc and ask him for a complete blood test to make sure that everything is going well with your body. Now to the food. If you have a small launch and the a dinner with some junk snacks between them, well you're killing yourself. You have to start reading this board about nutrition and make a good plan for you. You should be eating 5 or 6 meals per day, not big but very nutritive. I'm not going into more details about food because you have to read and learn about it first. Other thing, you have to sleep well. No less than 7 hours and no more than 9. Once you've set up those things, start lifting weights. Come back for that when you are finally eating and resting well.
