20 Ibs Quickly

pintoca said:
you don't need any gear to drop a lot of fat and very little LBM. You need to know what you are doing though and monitor your progress EVERY week, making the adjustments you see fit...

I dropped 50 lbs in 5 months, it was about 48 lbs fat and 2 lbs muscle. No gear.

After reading some of your advice here

I find that hard to believe that you dropped 50lb and most all was fat.

Man, the only one I have to prove anything is to myself. I know I did it, clean by the way, and the graph is there for everybody to see. Also some before-after pics.

Nevertheless, results may vary and as I always say, I recommend what I have tested myself and know it works...

So if you feel like searching for the truth...

I recently went on a crash diet to lose a quick 10 Ibs. It was a success :) BUT soon after I gained it back plus some  . So now I need to lose almost 20 Ibs. What is the average amount of time a person could lose 20 Ibs and it will stay off and it will still be considered a heath weight lost? Please advise.

If you want to learn how to eat correctly for a healthy lifestyle, please join us at the Women's Fitness Forum & do some research by reading Shadow's Project & Shadow's Project Summarized stickys.... also a lot of us are doing a 2005 logging diet/exercise program.....

Doing this the right way will enable you to lose the weight & keep it off...

question to the person who said losing 2 pounds a week would be muscle.. Why the frick can't you lose 2 pounds of fat per week w/o losing muscle? Does the human body stop at a half pound per week and say, "no more fat for me...lets eat the muscle and make the body look anorexic"? I'm not trying to be abrasive here so let me elaborate on why I'm asking.

I'm aware the general consensus is that slowdowns happen due to hormonal activity changing gradually (thyroid, leptin, testosterone, cortisol shifts) with the progression of weight loss, but I haven't seen any concrete studies or scientific information showing that the body is limited to only losing a pound of fat per week or so before it starts eating away at your muscle and your metabolism slows down.

I made a thread asking for scientific info to back up the general consensus on fat loss, and I respect the people who took the time to give elaborate and thoughfull replies to the questions, however while I'm not saying that they are wrong, I still didn't see any scientific evidence to back up the gym science. I agree that bodybuilders have allways been (and allways will be) a step ahead of the medical world as far as body recompositioning is concerned, but I would still like to see some good information to back up the pseudoscience every once in a while.

ralph- the only people who say this are lazy people who dont want to work. They are too lazy to work there ass of to lose the weight so they say its impossible.
