16 Week Cuttin Cycle with KETO DIET

^^^generally that is correct nelson however a lot of fat people eat low calorie diets and can't lose.. many fail to eat breakfast which is a mistake for example.. you are leaving out metabolism, this is important. you have a fast metabolism and an ecto frame so you gotta put yourself in someone elses shoe who might have a meso frame.

also you gotta remember those that have office jobs are gonna burn way less calories throughout the day then someone who digs ditches outside in 90 degree heat. so its not as simple as lower cals, up cals. the guy who digs ditches is gonna have a hard time gaining weight, and the guy who sits on his ass in front of a computer all day is gonna have a tougher time losing weight even if both eat the exact same amount of food

and then there is the insulin sensitivity in play. someone could eat something with cals and store it as fat, while someone else eats the same thing and burns it away .

a good trick to get your metabolism up in the morning is a freshly made veggie shake. lots of green veggies, some carrots to sweeten it up.

Thats the point... You felt piss poor and its not something you can or should stay on... Theres a reason the non carb craze didnt last... I generally stay out of nutrition threads because theres always something that may have worked for a few and then everyone wants to challenge it... I always get challenged yet i do things with diet and transformations year round that many classify as impossible... I can listen to arguments all day on this but i guaranfuckingtee that amount of fat is way too high for tge intended purpose of the op... The diet itself is a joke and not sustainable and not healthy to use

Yeah I tend to agree with its a poor diet. We can argue back and forth about the fat content lets not bother :) lets just both agree on Keto being a fas diet that leaves you feeling weak ( me anyhow )

Everyone has their preferences and ideas about what works and what doesn't. Its all about what works for you. Some people think they need to eat breakfast..or immediately before/after a workout..they don't and its disproven over and over, but that's a whole other topic I won't get into

With that said, I agree a lot with what Dylan has said here and I follow a lot of the same principles. Keto just isn't something that works for me. I don't handle low carbs well, and I certainly don't handle Hugh fat content well. I cycle my carbs with high days and low days with my high days being my workout days when they are needed. However, even my low days are 150-200g per day and 350-400g on high days. My fat content is always low....usually under 50g and only comes from small amounts of olive oil or peanut butter.

I think its safe to say Dylan and I have a diet that works very well for us, considering we are two of the leanest year round on the board.

Then they aren't going low enough. If calories in is less than calories expended you will lose weight. Works every time.

DOing things that make it worse (skipping breakfast, sedentary jobs) is irrelevant to the basic principle. And of course, a diet of Fruit Loops and Skittles isn;t the same as a good diet but if you don't have that together you sure as shit shouldn't be doing steroids.

^^^ i can dig that.

a lot of obese people have such a low metabolism that its in their best benefit to try and increase their metabolism rather than eat less, which is what i was getting at.

example i knew a guy at the gym who couldn't gain at all even though he ate a lot!! the guy worked construction and laid pipes... he was skin and bones with lean muscle from lifting but you couldn't tell. he ends up taking an office job at the company and then like magic he starts to gain.. a year later is gained 40 pounds (obviously not all muscle)... and his diet stayed the same.

i think sitting in front of a computer/tv all day is about the worst thing you can do for your metabolism. i agree with Elliot Hulse on that who says we did not evolve to sit in front of these machines staring all day. i believe this is the #1 problem to the obesity problem in the USA. 2nd being obviously the horrendous foods.

i agree. the thing I don't like about keto is the boomerang effect once you come off of it. it slows down your metabolism so when you come off boom you are fucked. a lot of guys find they can't lose weight anymore cause they crashed their metabolism.

That's the truth. Ya gotta eat! But you can't starve yourself thin. It's mostly about building muscle and burning calories.

I agree... Age has a lot to do with fat in take... Also, can you cut with a bit higher fat intake? Yes, you can... Can you cut MORE lowering fat... Absolutely... Theres just so many factors...

Op... You need to figure out what your maintenance is before you start throwing outnumbers... Base your intake and numbers off that
