need help/advice with rash/hives near injection site

Hi,

Been lurking a while and posting on a different board, but not getting good input.

Here's my situation:

Began cycle 3 weeks ago.

125mg deca + 125mg test c on Tues and Fri. I'm up for my shots today, but on Sunday I noticed an itchy rash about 2-3 inches from my injection sites on my glutes.

The test c is 250mg/ml and has 33% eo, some BA, BB, and sesame oil. I don't remember what the % of BA is but iirc it's 2.9%. Not sure on that as I don't have it here in front of me right now.

The deca is 250mg/ml. I can't see on the label if it lists anything else as it is slightly faded due to me soaking it halfway in warm water a few times before drawing.

Additionally, last Wednesday, the day after a jab, I broke out in sweat on the drive home and have been battling what feels like a nasty head cold which is in the process of subsiding now.

As to my history, I've cycled with test e, deca, primo, and winnie in various combos and serving sizes, and never had an issue.

Lastly, on my first injections, I used 23g 1.5" hardware. Last Tuesday, I switched to 25g 1.25" hardware.

Regarding the rash, which is what I'm most concerned with, is this my body dealing with the foreign substance and will it get over it, or am I done due to allergies? I'd think if I was allergic it would send me to the hospital and the hives would not be so localized but all over my body. I've been reading here and another forum, but can't seem to get a feeling as to where I sit.

Hydrocortisone cream really helps, but doesn't fix it entirely. Claritin: same thing. Benadryl: same thing.

Also, I do have some human grade deca I might try as it likely has no EO in it.

I can list brand names if it's helpful, but don't want to go afoul of any rules.

Thanks for any input.

J

stats:

39 years old
5'8" 220 lbs
lift 3x/week, hiit 3x/week, Sunday is off
BF%: no idea. I fit into my 36" waist jeans for the first time in years. Probably should be a 34 eventually. I was 32" in high school when I weighed 170lbs. Won't get there.
diet: jimmy john unwich 2x per week for dinner, chicken breast + salad 2x per week, love cytosport shakes.

What else ya need?

definitely sounds like you have something in your body that your body is rejecting, especially if the allergy medicine is helping. you can actually develop allergies to things later on. have you used this brand of stuff before? is it possible you got some of the rubber from the vial into the syringe? are the syringes sterile? are you swabbing with alcohol? there are so many other factors that could contribute

Never used this brand before. I'm fairly comfortable in saying that the injection technique is probably OK since the effect is several inches from where I jab, and not showing up anywhere else. I swab, aspirate, and do all the good things I should be doing.

I'll look at my syringes. I have 3 set from 3 sources: one set is from the local pharmacy, which I used for my first jabs 2 weeks ago. One, I haven't used yet (mail order medical supply).

The third which I got from a medical supply place I've used for the jabs last Tues and Thurs (total of 4). It does say "made in the PRC" which of course could be a problem.

I came across this in a post from 2009, and this is exactly what my left cheek looked like. right cheek was about 10% of that, and now the left cheek is mostly cleared up.

So, perhaps a stupid question: is this my body adjusting to my gear and can I continue, or am I shut down until I can find a brand that doesn't use eo?

Thanks,

My wifes been a nurse and or in the medical field for 13+ years and I been doing this shit a real long time. You are having a allergic reaction to the OIL!. I just had my wife take a look too.
Infections and or dirty products do not cause this, allergic reactions do.

Pretty sure about that, too. I was never really worried about an infection. I do see my gear is 25% BB, 2.2% BA, 33% EO, remainder is sesame seed oil.

I've seen some posts that say "oh it clears up eventually" but I cannot confirm this.

Am I done with the gear with eo in it? I presume I am, but if it's a one time reaction (doubtful), I'll go on. I don't want to toss out my stuff yet before I know for sure it was the eo. I didn't want to go out and make another purchase to have it be the BB or BA. Or, if by chance my body does acclimate to it, fine, it's over and I'll move forward.

What brands don't use eo (can I ask that?)?

Thanks for the input, bro.

Thanks. I hope my norma hellas deca is gtg. I was using a different deca that I'll put back in the drawer and try the norma. I'll put away the DP cyp and go shopping for GP. I've used some of their orals before (var) and they seemed fine by me.
