How soon before contest should you drop your gear and peptides?

I want to know not so much for detection (not at all) but more for maybe water retention or sides that might come in during show. I was thinking about dropping all my peptides and my prop/mast/tren about 10 days out. It's not like its really going to make a differance if I cut it by then correct? this way my sleep pattern will be better along with any water retentions I might have gotten from the peptides. Anyone else have any advice?
 
bump for someone with actual knowledge - I haven't a body remotely near competition levels so I will let others chime!
 
I have just read somewhere that you want to keep running up til the day of the contest.

Run all gear to contest. Might change injects to
glutes to hide any redness or swelling. Peptides I assume your refering to GH. No experience personally, but depending on how many ius your running it's possible to retain some water. I'll do a lil asking around and try and get a final answer for you.

Btw what show ya doing again? Excalibur?

yes. I am entering in the over 40 masters. If there are only 2 or 3 people in masters I will also enter novice so i can get a taste of real competition.

I'm nowhere near as big as you, and I've not used peptides. But, I have tried competing with cutting all test, tren etc. 10 days out. I lost water weight, but also muscle volume- which is where so much of the water is held from test/masteron etc. I'm not lumping all aas into one category of water retention or anything, I'm just saying that around 6-8 lbs of basic blood volume/water is held in the muscle. You want to get rid of the excess, but not that fullness. I would say keep the aas, but switch to glute shots as Socal suggested. Drop the growth and peptides though as they aren't going to do much of anything for you the last two weeks or so anyway. Just my opinion, take with a grain of salt.

Still 5 weeks out. I will post a pic or two when I am 4 weeks out. (next week) I posted at 3 months then 2 months.

I am running 100/tren/mast/prop eod and 50 mg winny daily along with just 20mg of hala daily.

AHa! That is excellent,You should be fine if you stick to the last 7 days Contest cycle i gave you.

i run gear right to the day using aromasin dropped gh a week out and use alactone last 3 days to dry out -last comp placed 3 out of ten so worked ok but looked a bit flat so might go without the dieretics for nexy show on the 22nd this month
 
drop the prop and add suspension. I always attain a harder look that way. If your peptides are indeed gh, no need to completely cut it out...just drop to 2 to 4 iu's/day. Don't forget to stimulate that thyroid????? Good luck bro!
