A "steady" guy ... I don't know how to explain this. I like surprises but I need to feel that if I need him, in whatever way, he'll be there for me, he'll be my rock.

Not an easy one to answer, when I say intelligence we just think of her ability to use logic in a discerning manner, however, some chics are like witty intelligent, some overwhelm you with an intelligence of receptivity, while others are just flat out seductive.. I dunno I can't just pinpoint into one quality... I guess, a blend of receptivity, open minded, has to have just knowledge based intelligence to understand my silly menusha at times, warmth, humor, and patience... but yeah... 5 qualities of warmth, humor, receptivity, openminded, and smart would basically nail it down. Looks are important, but shit, are a far second to the first 5 qualities.

This is my list too... she called me out correctly on looks too, hell I just got out of a reltionship and can't date on campus cause X is in same department I am, and now have been regulated to take online culture a step farther with internet dating... yeah, I'm kinda full of shit, looks are a primer.

Yeah, but I've had 43 years and two marriages to work on my list so don't feel bad.

Sorry to hear about the broken relationship, that falls under one of those other miscellaneous "dating" rules, i.e., don't date where you work (more commonly known as the "Don't shit where you eat" rule).
