Ok so today was a lot of various types of bench. Going to stay this way on chest day from now on. No more chest movements, just benching movements. Might do incline bench on the 4th lifting day of the week when we do arms and delts. That most likely will change as well and might do lat pulldowns on that day and avoid lats on deadlift day altogether. Might just do deadlifts, rows, and shrugs on back day and the extra day is for whatever else needs to be done to finish the week. More or less converting to a powerlifting program. No wasted sets or exercises from now on. Everything has a purpose for strength. I will also most likely go sports TRT and add in 150mg NPP to my 250mg Test Cyp during my recovery phase. I can finally start feeling the effects of the heavy lifting and being off NPP now. I dont like it and will do what it takes to make it go away. The next 16 weeks are critical and I must hit my goals of 650 Deadlift, 375 bench, 550 squat on the first powerlifting meet. Ideally I want to hit 675, 400, and 575 but will play it by ear. 673 lbs deadlift was ranked #2 in the world last year in my age and weight class btw. In the 220 class 661lbs was #1 in the world so I hope to see if I can make weight at 220. Ok everyone have a good weekend and get strong AF!!!

Today was a well deserved leg deload. With the tendonitis acting up an easy day is what the doctor ordered. Starting to feel much better as time goes on. Should be all gone in the next week or so. No pain today walking around. Almost as if its completely healed up. I am willing to bet the increased TRT from 150mg to 250mg is a huge difference in the speed in which it went away. First day back to squats after tweaking my inner thigh area. Still feels a little weak after I am done with my session but no pain at all during. Weird. Anyway decided to hold back on reps and keep volume low on squats until I start up the cycle in mid Feb. No reason to risk anything and just go with some easy reps for now. Will continue to hit the bench hard and semi hard on deadlifts. The body can only recover so fast at this age and I want to continue to be on a linear track over the course of the year so I dont want any setbacks. Went heavier today on squats back up to 405 for sets of 3. Will stay at this weight until mid Feb and then start progressing each week by 10 lbs for 8 weeks until I hit 500 for sets of 3-5 and then start the taper for a 4 week period. Went up to 500 lbs on my barbell RDL today. Was fairly happy with that so at least I am plenty strong in that regard. Ok everyone have a strong week ahead and thank god we have an administration back in office that can get shit done.

Will keep the weight the same at 315 and just keep moving up in reps as long as my body will give it to me. I will take what I can get!!! Still on 250-300mg Test Cyp and after tomorrow will be 150mg NPP for the week. Might bump it up to 225mg per week starting next week and get the third 75mg shot on wed. I forgot to take yesterdays shot so thats why I am only at 150mg for the week. No biggie. Food is around 2000-2500 cals per day. Non lifting days is the lower and lifting days the higher. Basically not much more than when I was on my diet. I feel as though I am at maintenance right now. Scale is flat so thats good. 3 more weeks until the cycle begins!!! I couldn't do full reps. Not enough flexibility and strength on the sumo leg press. I think I should do them each week and regain flexibility and strengthen them slowly. I think it could be a major weak link that could really benefit over time.

I was pretty wore out by the time I got to those. My goal is to do sets of 5 with 365 by mid next year. I'm pretty sure ive done 315 for 5 so far.

Went to a different gym today part of the 24hr franchise. I think we will be doing most of our training at this one from now on. Has way more squat racks to use and the flat bench is better for the wife to be able to unrack it. Just went up and did singles today on squats. I dont want to wear out my tendons and ligaments right now since I am not on a big cycle and am just trying to maintain what I have right now on low cals. Its only been 4 days since we did super heavy rack pulls so the body still healing from it. Will up the volume when the cycle starts. Singles are easy on the body so will just stick with it and then move up to tripples on the top end of the sets when the androgens kick in allowing more output. Ok everyone have a good finish to the week. We will be back on Friday for some heavy benching. Everyone get Strong AF!!!

I fully expect my strength to go up 3% each week on cycle for the first 8 weeks as I will most likely increase food to 2500 cals per day from the 2000 I've been at for the last 8 months. I'm choosing to stay away from heavy flat and just do incline and close grip. Will probably do speed bench 10 sets of 3 on our accesssory day.

Not really a back day, but a deadlift day and then the next day is usually a Arm/delt day but that has morphed into a everything we havent done day like lats and biceps or tries and some delts. Basically a bodybuilding day for us powerlifters. Most likely going to do a big refeed today and tomorrow. Might start up on the IGF-1 on Monday. Since I am not taking HGH I need something to speed up and build muscle and tendons. Thinking about starting cycle early and bumping the test to 500mg and keeping NPP at 150mg. I have a ton of EQ I can always add that in. I know that some on here use it year round in a lower dosage. Its not like I go up to huge blasts, I only go up to 1100mg at most usually around 1000mg total so I dont oversaturate things like most on here. I fully expect my strength to go up 3% each week on cycle for the first 8 weeks as I will most likely increase food to 2500 cals per day from the 2000 I've been at for the last 8 months. Head an ok session today. Felt heavy. I kind of like the training split I have going now. Not really a back day, but a deadlift day and then the next day is usually a Arm/delt day but that has morphed into a everything we havent done day like lats and biceps or tries and some delts. Basically a bodybuilding day for us powerlifters. Most likely going to do a big refeed today and tomorrow. Might start up on the IGF-1 on Monday. Since I am not taking HGH I need something to speed up and build muscle and tendons. Thinking about starting cycle early and bumping the test to 500mg and keeping NPP at 150mg. I have a ton of EQ I can always add that in. I know that some on here use it year round in a lower dosage. Its not like I go up to huge blasts, I only go up to 1100mg at most usually around 1000mg total so I dont oversaturate things like most on here. Should make a huge difference in the bench when it comes to maxing out in 14 weeks. Also bumping up the test to 500mg this week with 225mg NPP. Going to start eating more on lifting days. Hoping to get close to 3000 cals on lifting days going forward and keeping down to 2000 on non lifting days. Ok everyone have a nice week ahead. I am getting excited as hell to get this cycle going.

Yes were both ok. We expected it to be soon as she has been in alot of pain over the last couple years. She had COPD and had to use oxygen for years and still smoked. She broke her hip and wrist last year and recently in the last 3 months got burned pretty bad so she is in a better place.

Had a decent session today. Pain doing flat bb bench so I am going to stop doing it and just go with close grip for now as the shoulder feels much better the closer I position my hands on the bar. Incline also has no pain at all so will be doing those as well. I get very good carry over from the incline bench to the bench so I am not worried. I will still do a regular bench on speed bench day though. As long as the weight is light it doesn't seem to bother it so we can do that for now. Thanks again for all the nice comments about the mother in law. We are doing ok. Just the long process of all the legal crap now for the next few months is going to be stressful. Had a good session today. I did two different things out of my comfort zone. I did hook grip for the first time and sumo style deads. Hook grip sure hurts the thumb. Will take time but I hear it gets much less painful after every week. Had to go much lighter since its a learning curve. Will continue to use hook grip until my thumbs tear apart. Sumo sure was easy. I think I might go way up next week on them to see what I can do for reps with hook grip. Maybe try 455 on sumo style for doubles or triples if the thumbs cooperate. I can sure see why people do sumo. Not much of a range of motion. Sure gives the back a break. I just need to build my hips up for it I believe that will be the weakest link for me and my knees. Maybe even use knee sleeves when I decide to go up above 500 or more. Its definitely more legs and butt than conventional. We also did t-bar rows for the first time. Felt strong. Will try 225 next week. I think its been 35 years since I've done them. I remember I inured my sternum on them when I was 20 and never did them again. So now I am making sure to keep my chest off the pad with a slight arch in the back. Ok everyone have a nice week and get Strong AF!!!
