Carb loading/depleting.....

Deplete carbs - all complex carbs gone or deplete down to none between Sun & Wed of your peak week. Starting Thurs start loading complex carbs like potatos, some people use rice cakes. LIke 300 g - the idea being it takes 36-48 hrs for carbs to fill out your muscles.

They also require water to hold them. In conjunction w/ the carb load you can do a water deplete (e.g. startign Tues - 2 gal water, Wed 1 gal water, Thurs - 1/2 gal water, Fri - 1/4 gal water , sip as needed after 6 pm.)

As you are doing this, when carbs are reintroduced into your body, they will seek out water to fill out your muscles and the only water available will be whatever subcutaneous water is available - so tha thelps to suck even more water out of your skin and make it as paper thin as possible while your muscles fill out.

Note that you hear lots of people saying they look better the day AFTER the show - usually meaning they started their carb up too late and they didnt' really fill out until the day after. That means they may have been flat on show day (not filled out yet). If they start too soon then they can spill over and look flat again.

IMO its also important to be careful about reintroducing things into your diet that have been left out for a while - e.g. you often hear of people loading on candy and stuff and then getting sick because their bodies can't process that stuff after having cut it out so long ago - or possibly getting dairy ni there when its probably been cut out and they have become lactose intolerant in the short term.
