i'm not totally sure what a 3.0 works out to in canadian standards (mark out of 100), but from what I've seen, you need high 70s and up to get into a half decent grad/masters program. But if you're trying to get into med school, you're gonna need pretty close to a 4.0 GPA. I'm not really sure...

Apparently thats Mark Ecko that did it... the guy is like a multi millionaire so thats pretty cool that he can do shit like that but if you read the legal disclaimer, it bluntly says that he didn't do it. So I dunno. He's certainly got the money to fabricate a stunt like this. I doubt he'd risk...
