Zedhed's challenge!

My dad was going to help with payments and pay my insurance as long as I got the down payment. It's sort of a graduation gift I never got on graduation haha.

How is your lifting and eating going bro.
Would love to see you starting weights and where you are now. How many weeks in are you?
 
Lol zed I've been so off track with the restaurant deal. Been there all day working and lifting tables so I guess you could count that as a workout. But Saturday I managed to get a decent workout. I dropped squats to 3x10 and went down to 135.
Went down on bench back to 100 to match my row, and to also get used to a wider grip since I have been using a really close grip the whole time. And I add a bicep and tricep workout after each workout. Monday - tricep Wednesday - bicep Friday -tricep

I can start fully working out again now since the restaurant is now open starting tomorrow and I'm not going to be up there all day and night getting everything settled.

Yeah real life does get in our way sometimes bro but just stick to your guns man.
 
Anyone ever do an all arm day just for the hell of it? I started doing ohp's, tricep dips, triangle pushups, tricep extensions, dumbbell curls, BB curls, cable curls, and hammer curls yesterday and my arms are STILL BLOWN UP TODAY! It's awesome! Idk why but it feels good. Anyone else experience something like this?

Definitely.

I'm always trying to keep my body guessing. Even if it's shoulder day, if it's been a few days since I've really hit arms, I'll dedicate a day just for arms and do my favorite exercises...it throws my body for a loop and I end up looking and feeling great. Same with other body parts. It's never a bad idea to do something different when it comes to weight training, just make sure you give them adequate rest now before you hit them hard again.

Next arm day, focus on another area...if you've hit all your body parts hard that week, it won't hurt to just spend some time in the ab room and doing calves, or any other body part you don't usually show a lot of good attention to.
 
Haven't been able to workout lately due to work. But tomorrow we're only serving brunch so I'll be able to hit it up! Will keep posted

Def a diff showing there bro. Keep eating and keep on that 5x5 is the best advice I can give you man.
 
Alright guys. I'm back in full force. This work from 11am-1am has been killing me. We changed hours to 3-12 so I'll be back in action!

Totally changed up my diet to a high protein diet to fit my needs. Let's see how much better it works now!

Also bought me a new little compound bow for deer season coming up ;)
