Yup, another deadlift PR post

Great job, I especially love the no belt, gloves or strap part, that always makes a lift more impressive
Citrus, in a meet the rep doesnt pass unless you lock out, as a result most guys like to lock out on their reps same as in a meet. Even if I'm doing a set of 10 reps, I usually lock out on every one

I remember what 400 felt like!! Where I workout is really hardcore with a bunch of oldtimers-----they have 400 welded onto the bar!!!!!!!!!

sweet! nice job

few things

1. what are your stats

2. are you able to squat wide in that rack? looks sorta narrow...how do you get around this?

1. 5', 9", ~200lbs. BF%=?? But not obese. (I hear there are abs under there.:))

2. Yes, I can squat just fine. I usually squat with my feet right around shoulder width, but I can as wide as needed in the cage. I think it's just the pic that's gives the appearance that it's narrow.

Thanks NS. This board is a big reason I have been working on ditching the belt and never started using straps. (The gloves disappeared for a different reason.)
I doubt I would have had the guts to post that pic on here if I had a belt, gloves and/or straps on. I can imagine the flames.....:D

Needsize, I think C was talking about the way his hips are way forward and he's LEANING back...not the same as locking it out. You could technically be leaned back like that and NOT locked out...like if you're hitching.

I want to join the 405 club soon, but I lift kilo plates. Anyone in the 403 club? :lmao:

How do I know the difference? When I lean back like that, I go until it "feels" locked out. I don't know how to describe it exactly. But, if I stop before the point I go to, I don't feel like I completed the lift.

How do I know when I have locked out vs when I am just leaning back to far?
