CCJ> Thanks. Yeah, they are hex plates. Standard size, no less. (1 inch.) I bought them before I had even started DLing. Nice thing though, they have little handles for carrying them around. You will notice though, that the last gray 50lbs plate on the end is round.

The thicker bar took a little while to get used to, but I have found my grip strength going through the roof. You notice I put on my dress sweats for the pic?
Louden> Thanks. Sears had them on sale. The only problem was the pulley system on it was set up for only olympic plates. (All mine are standard 1 in.) Soooo....I took it off.
