If you're trying to gain muscle on a bulking diet, you should expect some fat gain - that's impossible to avoid. The nature of cal in vs. cal out is what is really considered here. When you're taking above maint. levels in caloric intake, you have a potential state for fat gain - no matter how you look at it.
