198 senior year got serious, 605sq, 330 bench, 550 pull, inzer z suit marathon dble goldline wraps, ehd bench shirt inzer, singlet on dl, hurt my shoulder after and then 4 years in the army, should have stayed and lifted. those were monday squat wed bench and fri dl, max week at the gym and school.

well these guys dont post here but..
my uncle could bench 325 in highskool and when my dad was in highskool he had a good frend that could bench press almost 400lbs! i also know a guy right now that has benched 340, hes a senior. weird thing is these guys either bench pressed monday-friday or they bench pressed mon, wed, fri and they got pretty damn strong.

i am still a teenager (18, SHW) and i benched 500 in august, IPA nationals in november will be my first will be my first full meet with equipment, im looking to squat 700 and pull 605-635.

At 17, I benched 450 at a body weight of 250 with an inzer single poly. At 18, 275 I benched 460. At 18 super heavey weight I squated 640, benched 500, pulled 600. All of these records can be seen at www.uspfny.com , my name is John McKenney. At 19, I set an APF, 308 world record in the bench of 525 and then later with a 550. Then when I was 20 in the 308 class at the USPF NYS meet I squated 752, benched 575 the year before, and deadlifted 650, with my best meet total as a junior of 1950. These too can be seen at www.uspfny.com under the state records. These where all done either in no equipment (only belt and knee wraps) or when I was younger with a inzer blast shirt.

Senior year of High School...didn't know anything about powerlifting. Benched 221...Squat 350 (probably high)...Deadlift 375...all at 205lb Bodyweight.

When I was 16 I could bench 88lb 50 times hehehe. I could also run 6 miles in under 30 minutes whilst barely breaking a sweat. I dont consider that bad considering I had seriously bad asthma and according to the docs I shoulda died a coupla times.

I didn't deadlift or squat until a couple of years ago. I was so pleased when I squaatted with 3 plates each end :). Oh and until 2 years ago I was one of those guys who always makes excuses for not taking the bar all of the way down when benching.

I'm also a member of the 'if only I started earlier' club :)

graduated highschool with 130 lb machine bench, barely 95 lb squat, and never deadlifted. All at bodyweight of 200 lbs. I was very inactive during my youth, and when everyone on their ass I went to the gym.. that was 2 years ago. I now benchpress 255, squat 315 and deadlift 410. I bodybuild, not powerlift though, and I have to admit to myself, that this is indeed a magic pill of happiness, or atleast part of it.
