what did everyones numbers in their teen years look like? especially you really big strong mofos

PATHETIC

When I graduated highschool many, many years ago I was 6'2" and weighed 185 lbs.

Bench - 185 lbs
Squat - 350 - 365 lbs
Deadlift - 400 lbs

I wish I would have started powerlifting at that age but I wasted many years doing the bodybuilding thing. I've been strictly powerlifting since February of 2001.

Well from 16 through 19 estimates for me:

2000+ total beers drank

600+ Bud and Busch
750+ Schlitz (used to be my favorite beer)
750+ Meister Brau + etc drinks

I didnt waste my teen years with good mornings! I had a lot of good evenings though!

Ah those priceless teen years..If you arent wasted the years are!!

Me too, if I only knew.

My numbers in my teen years were very similar to Screwballs, I can;t remeber for sure. I just know they were really low.

YOu know what after over 15 years of training like a bodybuilder, on and off, more off than on.

I have made better strength gains in 7 months (westside) than in all my years. If I only knew.

Mine were pretty good for my age and weight, but not near the level they are now. When I first started training, I trippled 80lbs on the bench at age 14. . .I was 105lbs. At 16, I was bench pressing 225 at 140lbs. My squat was bad. . . . . only a 275lb max. Wrestling through high school took most of my strength and power.

In highschool I lifted for a weights class, nothing very serious. I could bench, pushpress and clean around 300. I didn't squat or deadlift. I played soccer all year round which really didn't help me get very strong. Ever since I stopped playing my numbers have been going up.

im 16 right now my states are around 10%bf 180lbs
i bench 225 (barely ever do)
squat 325
deadlift 365

i love power lifting but im a basketball player so i have to do alot of endurance stuff.
hopefully i can getm ore into powerlifting an football but basketball is such a good sport.

Well I don't think I am one of the big strong mofos referred to by our thread starter, but I will take a stab here.

I recall at age 17 weighing 155 lbs benching 255 RAW. Had no idea what a shirt was at the time.

I remember about that same time box squatting on what I am sure, looking back must have been an insanely high box, getting 315.

Did not even know what a deadlift was then, but I am sure I could not have done much on it.

Was able to do 15 chins at that time, and over 100 situps, and ran 2 miles in just over 13 minutes. Would take me all afternoon to run 2 miles now. Err, walk 2 miles now, rather.

At age 19, I was 185 lbs and was doing dips with 100 lbs dumbells hanging from my waist. Fell in love with the leg press about that time and have no clue on my squat from then, but not much I am sure.

Still had no clue regarding a deadlift, at age 19.

Did not start powerlifting till one month before my 27th birthday, and I am 28 now. Wish like Hell I would have started earlier, but what can you do? I am doing the best I can with what little ability I have at this point, and that is all anyone can do I think.
