Yeah...about that Arnold Speech at the RNC...

A rousing speech huh?

And guess what? Arnold did not even stick around to hear bushie juniors speech. He flew back to CA the very next day.

And he gave a firm NO when the Repubs asked him to campaign for Bush in Ohio this week. He didn't decline. He didn't excuse himself, he said NO. Think about it, he won't even campaign for his party in a state that he publically calls his second home. A state he owns several real estate properties in and hosts the bb'ing show that bears his name.

Know why? Because his speech was nothing more than a favor that he owed Bush sr. for appointing him in the Council of Physical Fitness long ago. People have already been whispering this.

Do you know how desperate you sound? A few weeks ago guys like you were saying he wouldn't speak at the convention. Face it, Arnold is a wildly popular REPUBLICAN who supports Bush, and will no doubt campaign for him before November. Probably in Cali, where Kerry may be in for a fight.

Who said that Arnold wouldn't speak at the convention?

I remember I said that Powell wouldn't speak at the convention.

Did he?

The same way Kerry received secret orders from President Nixon when Nixon wasnt even in office?

"LMAO"

Nixon was involved with Vietnam not only before his innauguration, before the election, but even before he had secured the party nomination. He tampered with Nguyen Van Thieu, made promises of what he would do about Vietnam when he was sworn in, and told NVT what to do and say at the Paris peace talks.

Of course, Nixon reneged on all his promises after he was sworn in. It is rumored that Johnson got wind of what he was doing, and blackmailed him.

What?

Kennedy and Nixon's 1960 televised debate is one of the most famous.

Carter and Ford debated in 76.

What are you talking about?
To clarify between 1960 - 1976.

The point is The supposed Humphrey / Nixon Debate never happened.

Here is what Arnold said:

"I finally arrived here in 1968.I had empty pockets, but I was full of dreams. The presidential campaign was in full swing. I remember watching the Nixon and Humphrey presidential race on TV. A friend who spoke German and English, translated for me. I heard Humphrey saying things that sounded like socialism which is what I had just left. But then I heard Nixon speak. He was talking about free enterprise, getting government off your back, lowering taxes, and strengthening the military. Listening to Nixon speak sounded more like a breath of fresh air.

I said to my friend, "What party is he?" My friend said, "He's a Republican." I said, "Then I am a Republican!" And I've been a Republican ever since!"

He never said he saw them debate, he said he observed the "race" on TV. He was impressed by what both men had to say. That HHH was a socialist and Nixon was a conservative.

There is no issue here.

Do you know how desperate you sound? Making up things that I was supposingly to have said.

Go back and find where I said I Arnold wasn't going to speak? Go ahead.

Sadly, once again, you are using false facts to support a non-existent party stance. did you attend jr's coke party afterwards?
