Been out of the game for about 6-8months and now back on a good diet. I have been taking approx 3-4 protein shakes a day for almost 2 weeks. I remember before when first starting up the protein the horrible gas, but it isn't going away and i almost clear everyone out of the office every five minutes. Abnormal? Is it possible that it's because i've added a large salad to 2-3 of my meals? thoughts............???????
 
Salad can cause that, cut back on the amounts.

Have Ginger Root with your shakes, it'll help the absorption.

also, cut down the protein amount in the shake, 30-40 grams max! No point in trying to put down 50-60 gram shakes, you can't assimilate it all.

i'll try the ginger root and cut back on salad. on the shakes i have been ramping up to the full dose. right now i do 3 scoops instead of 4 for the very reason of the "gas" issue. thanx for the advice
 
Your having 4 shakes a day?....When are you eating real food? Having that many shakes alone would cause a problem for alot of people...Trying eating real protein sources instead of drinking all your meals.

i said 3-4 shakes. i take one at 9:30am, sometimes pre-work out, one post work out, and one before bed. i eat "real protein sources" breakfast, lunch, 2:30pm, and dinner.

3 scoops is still too much... All you're doing is shitting and farting out valuable protein.
