I also suffer from wrist pain when lifting. Only my left wrist. I have also had the shooting pain in the forearms and around my elbows / biceps. I'm not sure what it is either. I have started using a wrist wrap for heavy benches, which is mainly when I feel pain. I'm going to try to cut my routine down a little to see if I can get rid of it or at least lessen it. However, I have just come back from a 5 week layoff and it's still there so probably not going to go away for me. Good luck.
