Worst year in the gym ever.

I can't wait for this year to end! I seriously have never had so many issues and injuries in the gym in my life! I blew out my back in January doing deadlifts, which took a good 8 months and about 10 Orthopedic visits to heal up to about 75%. I decided to break my foot and 2 toes in July, which kept me from doing cardio for 3 months. I then figured I would sprain my shoulder in October. I'm finally back to doing cardio again and of course, I go ahead and re-break my toe last night. Seriously, if it's not one thing, it's another! I'm 15 lbs heavier than normal (from 190 to 205 lbs) and it's just continuing to go downhill! 2011 can't get here fast enough! Sorry, had to vent. haha :D

I'm with you bro.

Crutches for a month with a sprained ankle - fell down a 2 foot step holding a 90lb gym matt. 3 months later it still hurts.

Strained pec (benching)

Separated shoulder - overhead squat.

Pulled abdominal wall - God knows how, couldn't stand up from sitting on the floor without rolling over onto all 4's.

Separated the bones in my hands when I missed a front squat. So I couldn't grip anything, right and then it turned into "golfers elbow" on the right side after rock climbing...

2010 can kiss my....

I'm with mike on this one, no point waiting for the magic day to come, just get on with it. It's almost inevitable that you're going to hurt something since most of us on here practically live in the gym.

Been there and done that good bros. For me I had to step back and take a good look at how I was traiing. Oh but wait, you guys are doing it out of the gym too....

Sorry bro, when life lays it on thick I just go back to basics and keep full steam ahead. The key is to keep it simple, this helps eliminate your chances of more problems.
