World Strongest Man Pound for Pound

Anyone who doubts this can check out the issues of Ironmag in 1998.If you still doubt or not believe it then put your money where your mouth is and challenge.A certain individual known as the world largest bodybuilder and strongest has turned down a challenge in 1998 while at the Muscle Mag Store in Toronto.Right now my athlete is in training for a 350lbs arm curl.

If this certain world's largest bodybuilder, is who I think he is, he has turned down so many challenges, that most people have written him off. (He will not perform any of his said feets of strength, nor can he place higher then 15th in a bb contest.)

Anyway, I have seen that Ironman article, and it was rather intersting to me. I don't know it the man actually performed the movement, but for an individual his size to even hold that much weight in that position would be impressive. However, my question to you MR. Ivory is if I recall correctly, your athlete was a track athlete. So Why would he need to curl 350 pounds?

My athlete was a track athlete to begin with so I had him doing alot of power lifts to develop explosive power. He just happened to be very very strong and good at the weights. At 15 years old he benched 315 lbs.His first love is track but excelled extremely in the weights instead.Track is purely politcs and unless you have the proper fuel program for track and the new designer drugs , you ain't going to run 10 flat or faster.Unless you run 10 flat or faster in the 100m you can't make a living off of that.

I see your point. If this man is as strong as you say he is, (I'm not doubting you, just playing the devil's advocate) why not just enter him in some professional power lifting meets. I forget what the record is, but an 800lb deadlift at 185 must be close to some record somewhere.

My athlete is currently training with 330lbs in the arm curl and deadlifting 800lbs at this time weighing 176lbs at this time.
