Working out while travelling every month with no gym access

Hey everyone!

I will be starting work in around 1 month. My job involves work between two countries all year round so I would be on average 2 weeks in my home country and 2 weeks out of my country. At times, I might have to stay to up to 3 weeks out of town. During my time there I won't probably have access to any gym and very little time to work out.

So my question is if it is possible for someone to keep on track and gain muscle mass if he goes to gym for 2 weeks straight and take 2 weeks off EVERY single month. And if that is not possible at all, what do you guys think I could do because I am seeing a lot of progress and i still have a long way to go.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Most hotels have gyms. And gyms know it's good to be located by hotels. 2 weeks is too long. You'll find time. Workouts don't have to be 2 hours long. Prioritize and prepare.

It would be better than nothing at all.

At worst, if your hotel doesn't have a gym and you can't find any nearby, which shouldn't usually be the case, you can do some non-weighted exercises to maintain some of your gains.

Personally i see better gains when i take time off the gym.. But in moderation.. Not 2 weeks off each month.. A few days to a week every 4-5 weeks give or take..

Also you can solve your problem by investing into a nice set of resistance cables and carry them around with you.. Can leave them in the hotel. Theyre light and mobile plus dont take up much space. All you need is a door as an anchor, problem solved.

There are pro ones heavy (resistance) and strong (quality and will last you ages as long as you look after them) and safe (smart technology) plus some with 5-10 years warranty if im not mistaken b0dyl45tics (US based my favorite) have a lifetime warranty.. Theyre really good done my physiotherapy using them and always carry them around with me while traveling.

Good luck

You can look into body weight exercises. They make it easy to workout when you are in places that don't have a gym. Hope this helps

Most of the hotels have training centers. Even under the least favorable conditions, if your hotel doesn't have a training center and you can llok for it close-by, which shouldn't ordinarily be the situation, you can do some non-weighted activities to keep up some of your gains. You can look into body weight workouts.
