My woman who's been working out with me everyday, finally after seeing how well I've been doing, wants to diet too! Would she benefit from the same diet as me ? ( high protein, low fat, a few carbs).shes 27 5'5, 135 an after having two kids she wants to lose the weight around the mid section.shes been doing really well at the gym but just needs to lose a few.

Yes, my wife has similar stats and i got her eating hi protein moderate carbs and low fat. Shes just started a few weeks back and is down a few lbs. I have her eating 10/11 cals per lb. she does classes and cardio at the gym 3-4 days per week. maybe some of the ladies will chime in soon.

weight around the waist on a woman tends to point to insulin resistance problems ...
I have four kids and didn't see any midsection fat until after my third baby when insulin resitance probs arose

I tend to go with high protein, high fat (healthy fats!), and as close to zilch for carbs as possible with a little carb binge which I call a carb up ..but is really code for binge about once a month
I bet you can guess what time of the month that might be

I do heavy weight lifting with as little cardio as humanly possible

Maybe have her flip that a little bit? Have her lifting heavier--more muscle mass will increase her metabolism and maybe do less cardio. Maybe 3 days steady state cardio, to preserve muscle gains but encourage fat loss. Just a suggestion. Everybody's different. :)
