wierd question

Ok so when i wake up from sleeping in the morning i notice i look totally ripped
I'd like to look like that all day if i could but i seem to lose that look come night time hehe
what's up here and what can i do to maintian that lvel of ripped ness?

I'm guessing it is water weight that you put on during the day. If you don't eat or drink anything you could maybe keep the look, but that won't work..lol Drink a ton of water to help flush the water out

It's definitely water weight. Holding excess water will smooth you out just like having a higher percentage of bodyfat will, and likewise shedding lots of water will make you look more cut.

Keeping sodium and carbs low, and taking a decent amount of Glucorell-r (or ALA in general) keeps my water weight down.

3-4 liters is close to a gallon, correct? I drink about half again as much, closer to 5-6 liters of water a day - it's not hard to get used to if you keep a full bottle of water in front of you at all times and drink drink drink. :)

1 gallon is approx 3.9 liters

4 liters a day is optimal...I normally drink 4-12 liters a day, depending on activities, supplementationg, etc

ok thanks for the advice, i'll try upping the water to 6 litres
as for the carbs, i'm getting around 180g a day which i need to fuel my gruelling workouts at the moment
i'm taking 1g of ala per day

it's the same with me....I look real good when I wake up and get softer during the day.....waterweight

BA,

Yeah! I noticed that too. I was also thinking that it was water weight. But to keep water down during the day is likely not a good idea. If you are working out at some point during the day, water will aid in your workout, and post-workout will aid in recovery and growth.

I've been told to treat water like the "oil for your engine" keep the level high and you'll stay lubricated and run more efficiently.

I usually do 2 L before lunch 2 L after lunch, and another 2L before I go to bed. So what's that about a gallon and a half a day I guess. Down side is my secretary thinks I have a bad coke habit cause I go to the can about once every 20-30min during the day.

Same thing happens to me. I look fucking great in the morning. But i can even tell a difference after eating my moring breakfast. Then by the end of the day I get a bit softer. I always assumed it was water weight and swelling from heat, food ect..ect..

I think the lower you get your BF% is what makes a huge difference.
