Why isn't hockey scrutinized for steroids or not even mentioned?

Because most of the NHL players, aside from maybe the pure goons, never juiced. Anyone who's actually good had to deal with World Championships and eventually the Olympics for international play...which are both tested...so juicing wasn't really an option the way it was for the best baseball players.

They didn't even test for steroids in baseball until recently anyway. The NCAA does test college baseball players but the minors takes top players right out of high school.

cuz media doesn't give a shit about hockey. it's usually item 3 or 4 on the sports section of the news anyways outside of Canada.

Most Americans can't name more than 1 hockey player.

i worked at a major sports network. we used to get viewer ratings every week.

world's strongest man competitions had HIGHER viewer ratings then NHL games!

We never told advertisers tho. Kept it hush hush.
