According to the logic of those who think I'm "immature" apparently they would rather someone who they can't stand sleep with their mother and then joke about her being a sweaty whore who sucks dick and begs for cum. Than for that person to punch them in the face.
Apparently getting punched in the face or taking a bit of a beating is obviously so far worse than someone raping your mental space that it would warrant someone being "immature" for even considering that maybe both those scenarios are just as bad as each other or maybe that the non violent scenario is actually worse.

You said not unless they parents, partner etc. Acknowledging the fact that words can have as much of an effect as physical violence. Sure in your case it's only if it's your parent or other half but for some people it's not just limited to family members.

To cut to the chase. I'm having a hard time trying to figure out why it's so hard to accept that people can hurt others without physical actions in some cases more than they can or equally so, with physical violence.

You hear examples of this all the time. I would rather that guy of ripped my heart out than do that to my {insert precious item here) Whilst they are exaggerating by saying {ripped my heart out} I'm sure they would much rather of taken a beating lets say than having to go through what happened to them.

Kids don't shoot up schools because they got into a fight and lost, they shoot up schools because they feel they have been emotionally tortured.

And to finish off.
It's the words/non violent actions in the first place that set off the violent actions. So you've never felt like hitting someone because of something they did or said. BOLLOCKS. The fact that some of you are itching to K bomb me proves you think the same as i do, though you just don't want to admit it.

I'm not saying torturing.maiming and killing thousands of people is the same as calling someone a dick. I'm just saying that certain actions and or words can be as bad or worse than certain physical violence.

I'm gonna have to give you guys an extreme example to get it through to you. Which is worse, you seeing some kid spit on a member of your families grave and calling your dead family member names. or seeing some cheeky kid get hit with an umbrella by and old lady ? Might sound silly, but the kid could say he never spat and that he didn't say anything bad. The old lady could be seen by a witness and done for assault on miner.
Yes the law really is that stupid.

No dim-puss I'm not mad. although calling someone names can sometimes only be offensive if the intended victim takes offence.
The scenarios i give, not including all the real life examples that happen too often everyday. Are not simply a case of someone calling someone a nonsense name "like suncum" for example and the intended victim took the bait. What I was talking about is not as easy to pass off as simple name calling.
Someone smashing up something you work years to buy or saying something that caused all your friends to dislike you for example would not be a simple case of. "It only effects you if you accept it"
