Who stiff-leg Deadlifts?

MidwestJ said:

A variation that I do...As I'm short I get two car ramps and place then on the floor inside my cage. Standing on them they make me much taller therefore the ROM is much greater when pulling the bar off the bottom pin of my power rack. If I didn't do this, the exercise would offer only minimal results as I couldn't get a full ROM.

You other shortsters might try that.

I just read this:) Good for tallsters too

I'm glad to see this pulled such a good response :)

Scruples, I feel you... my deadlifts exceed my squat, too. I can deep squat 225 a few times, but then again, I can sldl 295 x 4... by the way, I am 6'4, so deep squats aren't exactly the best for my knees, although I don't use height as an excuse, I still do my best to come parallel.

Squats are kinda my pleasure/pain complex... I look forward to doing them, I really enjoy power movements that incorporate brute strength. However, I still suck at squats in my opinion and the legs hurt like hades for the next week.

But isn't that what we're in it for anyway? :D

BFold... excellent advice. I'll be single full deads this leg day :)

Thanks for the responses.
