When do you lose gains if you stop training?

If you stop training, how long does it take to start losing gains (if you lose gains), assuming your diet is ok.

If you lose gains can they be quickly recovered due to muscle memory?
 
If you carry on consuming a good diet with plenty of protein and say take one 'maintenance' gym session per week - all over body workout - no fancy stuff - just basics..

then you'll lose hardly anything.. (unless it was all roid created)
 
i would think if toy trained hard and made some gains,you would have to continue to train to keep size.maybe you won't lose every bit,but damn i would think you would lose.if you used gear and stopped training and using ,i don't see how you would keep any........just my .02

I did a cycle and then stopped training for about 5 months. I lost a lot of strenght and size. The weight gains were still there but they weren't as solid. So when I had a chance I did a 2 week cycle of dbol and Primobolan and I got everything back quickly. I worked out like once a week for maintenance and it worked out pretty well. Dbol is some good shit for quick strength gains.

I am having the same problem. Just finished a cycle of Sustanon/EQ/Winny gained about 25lbs kept a good 20lbs. But now my shoulders are all fucked up. Its to the point where i can hardly do chest and shoulders. But i don't want to take time off in the chance of losing what i have gained. I am probably do for a week off becuase the last week i had off was 7 months ago. But i think that a week won't do shit, they are too messed up. Should i take time off now or wait until at least 2 months after my cycle to make gains more solid?

What if you weren't up to your natural level before you juiced? Say, you got up to your natural level with it or even a bit beyond. What would you lose then? Is the general rule that you fall back down to where you were before you juiced or back down to your natural level or a bit below?
 
This is what happened to me, and I'm sure I have said this a ton on this board about breaking my arm...lol;

7 weeks into my last deca/sust cycle I broke my arm really bad, I did my clomid but half assed it cuase I was depressed. the day I broke it I weighed in at 194lbs with 13%BF. now almost 3 months later I weigh 178lbs 17%BF and my muscle mass is really done.

I just started back in the gym last week cause I got my cast/brace off 2 weeks ago, and my leg strengh is all ther well maybe lost about 8-10% strengh on my legs, but I know I will get it back in aleast 1 month.

Now for my upper body whoa right arm (the good one) lost about 30% of my strengh and my broken one I can only bench 25lbs on the hammer strengh machine. I hope to god it get my strengh back in my bad arm quick. if anybody has broken there humorus bone please tell me how long it took to get it back to where it was!!! well sorry this thing is so long but I hope it helps:D

To my understanding i think it has to work like this, if you juice and build "liquid muscle" then train hard for a year without juicing that muscle must be alot more solid. So i think its about making you gains more solid and "real"(you know what i mean) will determine what happens. But if you keep juicing and don't stop you never give your body a chance to make that mucsle into real muscle. Does that make sense?
