lemme ask, is there anyone who uses gear and does compound excersizes 3+ days a week? is it possible in terms of recovery?

When I'm ON, I can train 7 days a week and I'll still make gains....kids these days manm everybody wants to train less. Less is sometimes more, but most times, it's just LESS.

I've been working out for seven days a week with the occasional day of rest when I feel my body needs it ... To me I'm 23 and doing one body part a week and then arms on Friday saterday I can train whatever I feel I need to hit and then Sunday is always some sort or functional strength/cardio day bulking or cutting is my diet never my training I always go 100% I've gone from 220lbs 18ish % bf to 196 lbs 7ish % bf p since may 12 2011 so I think this works for me but I've always wondered if I could or should tone it down

Been training 5x per week - 3 on, 1 off, 2 on, 1 off. On the juice I go so much harder but still need recovery days. I'm in the later half of my 40's though and have only been working out for 5 years. I have chronic shoulder issues and have had tendonitis in both elbows and have learned that its much better to take a couple days off per week rather than be down for months.. thats so depressing .

Depends. I've only been on gear for a week but the 3 weeks prior to gear I was on so I would hit a 6-day split heavy 5-6 days straight with a day off, then start again. Same for being on gear so far. I hit tri's and bi's directly once a week and indirectly once a week. I've seen really good results on this split, in part to a good diet.

I'm in my early 40s and 4 days a week (or 3 days a week doing starting strength) was never optimal for me.

I lift three days in a week irrespective of bulking cutting or recomp.
I just play with my diet, intensity & cardio like if I'm bulking i up my calories & intensity while keeping cardio to once or twice a week but when I'm cutting I prefer to increase my cardio intensity & adj my diet accordingly :)

you better train twice a day for 6-7 days strait to gain the most effects.
Science IS behind those statements (actually more often training is even more beneficial)...

Look if building muscle was as easy as going couple days per week. MORE PEOPLE would be huge by now.

There is no science in hit/low volume approach.

Forde serious muscle gains (we arent bodyshapers) you need serious training. Few days per week just dont cut it.

I know this thread is kinda old but .... I just wanted to know if it would be wise to train the same muscle groups twice a day or different muscle groups. I wanna give it a shot when i'm cycling again.
