Whats the best kind of fish to buy?

i have been buying massive amounts of the pre packaged fish steaks they come in teryaki, garlic herb, and a few others.. right next to the tuna packets 35 seconds in the microwave u can't beat it, anyone else?

If you mean the ones that are steamed in a microwave pack then they're ok, that's the ONLY thing i use the microwave for. Still can't beat freshly steamed salmon or tuna, Mmmmmm

Talapia is much Cheaper, and yea, very mild tasting..

cod ,tilapia, and white fish are cheap industry fish

its like eating at Denni's instead of eating at a restuarant

So true, I work in the seafood business. Cod is what fish sticks, mcdonalds fish sandwiches are made of. If budget is your concern, cod is good.

I personally like, sea bass & halibut.

While that is true one would have to pay attention to the question asked in this thread - I'm afraid you did not, most of your suggestion (although i love all of them) would make a fish hater's stomach turn.

I really don't like the taste of fish, so i guess my question is what is the best tasting fish?

It wasn't about the "quality" but what fish will taste the least like fish.

Most people who don't like fish can only get down certain types of fish.

I forgot halibut as thats good as well.
