What TIPS do you have for those of us who are hungry all the time?

Gum = dietary savor......I can go through 20+ pieces, then it makes me ill, then the last thing I want to do it eat....lol.....

And I love a mixture of eggplant, zucchini and assorted mushrooms with fresh basil and extra virgin olive oil. (some fresh mozzarella in moderation won't hurt too if it fits into your total daily calories)

Spoken like a true Italian, NIIIICE...

I eat EVERYTHING on top of a big bed of lettuce and cucumbers and stuff, DOUBLES the volume of the meal, if you don't add any dressing it adds no calories, and it makes the meal digest slower.

Just for the sake of asking, are you sure you're eating ENOUGH?

Well I dont know if I am rating enough. Such a long story lol. I am trying to figure out how much to eat and still lose weight.
We all do that.

The basic formula is 10 to 12 times your current body weight divided into portions of 40% p/30% c/30% f (or so, everyone is different), divided into five or six meals.

Another method is to calculate your basic metabolic rate (BMR) and add 250, you can find a calculator here:

http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/

If you're starving yourself, you will be OVER-hungry and you WILL NOT LOSE, PERIOD. If your body thinks it's in a famine situation (which undereating will signal) it will HOARD calories into fat, burn muscle and, not only will you be CONSTANTLY hungry, YOU WON'T LOSE WEIGHT.

I am eating 2500 to 2600 calories a day how can that not be enough?

Okay, I'd like to help you, and don't take some of the things that I'm about to say as hollering, okay?

According to the information I was able to glean by spending time looking up old posts of yours, you are a 215 lb., 34 year old, 5'6" female. If you are hungry all the time the #1 question is how does your diet break out in terms of macros, the fat/protein/carb?

Next question, are you still working out close to two hours a day, five days a week, estimating your caloric burn to be 900+ calories a day?

Assuming the above to be true, then if you're eating 2500 calories, and burning 900, by doing the math, you're UNDER-EATING. Your BMR is 1750, you're netting 1600 calories a day (and that's assuming you're ESTIMATING your caloric intake correctly), your body thinks it's in starvation mode, it's holding fat HARD. The fact of the matter is, you're BUSTING your ass to burn it, meanwhile you could eat more, workout LESS and get better results.

Cut back the exercise, eat a little more. Log your food and exercise and get a real handle on what's going on.

If I'm working off of incorrect information then, a little help, TELL me, calorie wise and percentage wise, what you eat, how much you currently weigh, and how much you're exercising.

There is a free diet calculator at FitDay.com. If you put EVERYTHING into that, you might be VERY surprised at the true numbers.

If you don't like FitDay, there's one at CalorieKing, it's a fee based membership thing but some of us prefer it. To me it's worth the money.

Weight loss starts getting MORE difficult, in it's own way, when you get CLOSER to your goal, seriously. The notoriously most difficult to lose are the last pounds, and that's when you REALLY need to start dialing in macros and numbers.

If all else fails, supplements are usefull. Like the first couple posts suggested, EFAs are good. Supplements like fish oil and sesamax will allow you to eat a bit more and not suffer the consequences.

Try a Hoodia supplement. I currently use a fat burner that has it in there. I'm like you and eat constantly. This stuff really works, so much so that sometimes I have to remind myself to eat. Try Lipodrene for a fat burner that has it in there or if you want to take Hoodia seperately try scifit's Hoodia 1500. Hoodia alone is not a stimulant but alone is a great apetite surpressant.
