No it not only does it show the down sides of drugs, it also glorifies them. I saw the movie in my hay days and went out on a binge afterwards. Plus in this case the kid is young so probably doesn't have the experience to grow from the movie.

well sorry hun... I've in the past tried that route.. and so have others... so seems you need to be insulted the same as you insult others.

I've had my fair share of shit slinging and insulting peeps... but i can honestly say that I've never done it in a serious situation that acutally impacted families... So, take it like you want... my godchild, who is 18 now, is really bad off on drugs. My sister, who never calls me, just called crying. Telling me she does not know what to do. I feel like someone needs to do something before he ends up dead. I am thinking about calling the police and narc him out. Just so he can get some help. There is no one who could bond him out so he'd have to do time. fuck...I feel like I have to do something. He's gonna end up dead.

that's exactly what she wants you to do... that way she is not the bad guy and can be there for him when he gets clean..
