what kind of cars do gay people drive?

I cannot believe you all forgot the #1 gay car....

MAZDA MIATA!!!

although the Z3 and SLK's have got to be a close second and third among the more wealthy sexually undiversified.

i was in gatlinburg over the 3 day weekend, saw a yellow jeep cj5 with four, shirtless, deeply tanned guys driving up and down the parkway.

after reading this thread, i wonder if they were GAY???

one of 'em smiled and nodded at me!!!!

Totally agree, it was my first pick in an earlier thread on this same subject. In fact, I call it the bottomiata.

Add Jeep Wrangler's to the list.....

I see 5 guys packed into these all with their shirts off.......

I regret hearing that. I don't have a wrangler, but I would like one someday. It is the premiere offroad vehicle, both dudes and chicks alike drive them. The 5 guys you saw probably stole it and took their shirts off to celebrate, for some strange reason. Oh, and you are talking about the car that helped win the second world war for America.

Straight or not, you got fucked. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is an inferior product utilizing dated technology. Next time, look into a Chevy Trailblazer/GMC Envoy/Old's Bravada (all same truck) or the Ford Explorer/Merc Mountaineer (same trucks, also).

The Jeep is running on a dated front and rear suspension giving you a very truck-like ride. It's 4x4 system is less then efficient and it's options are simply not as impressive.

However, the Ford Explorer has a much lower entry height yet has a higher ground clearance, features an independent 4 wheel suspension giving it very nice road manners and a 4.6L V8 never used in Explorer before. It also has the option of 3rd row seating which folds into the floor for the ultimate in flexibility.

The Trailblazer also rides on a completely redesigned platform and suspension and features a new engine putting out an impressive 270HP--the most output in it's class in a gas-efficient V6!!!

I especially like the quote about how the Explorer has a much lower entry height yet has higher ground clearance. A grand cherokee beats any similar suv hands down in the offroad department. And who cares about the entry level height? The problem is that more and more people are looking for the perfectly refined/yuppie/trendy/luxury/plenty of options, when jeep people only care about going anywhere, doing anything.

Thank god, I can now ride without shame again.

Actually, I was thinking of moving to an Explorer, but I lease this Jeep and they offer irresistible incentives to continue in one, including buying out the last four months of my last lease. My mountain place is up a steep hill that freezes over in the winter and I've had no problems with the jeep negotiating it.
