What female BB/Fitness/Figure woman would you like to look like? Post Pics.

Cory Everson and Rachael McClish, Sharon Bruneau, Monica Brandt all amazing bodies; the ones that attracted me to bodybuilding.

I had the pleasure and honor of actually working with Valentina Chepiga and what can I say? She further inspired me to push my body to new limits when I found out that she was essentially a "chubby woman" (pear-shaped like me in a past life) with NO ATHLETIC background who was first told that she should just forget about bodybuilding as she lacked proper genetics. She was also one of the oldest Ms Olympias and was well over the age of twenty when she began the pursuit.

I am curious about the pics of Heather Lee. Which are the most recent? I knew her personally in a past life and I have nothing but good things to say about her first, as a human being and secondly as a bodybuilder. She is one of the kindest, sweetest, gentlest creatures I had ever met. When I was going through some tough times trying to find my way in the world I remember I asked her why she was being so nice to me. Her reply was without thought. She said, "I dont want anything from you. I am this way to you because YOU ARE MY FRIEND." I wish her nothing but happiness and prosperity. She deserves it.

Valentina Chepiga = one of the best bods ever.

It is comforting to hear how you hold these women in high regard - based on personal experience. I think we've all heard the horror stories about "the dark side" of competition and modeling. By that I mean how competitiveness can turn into nastiness. Some wimmins can be vicious...

I don't throw around heavy handed compliments often......but you can go VERY VERY far in this sport.....as far as you want really....as the competition gets better at each level....the risk to be on an equal playing field goes up as well.

That said....there ARE some things to reduce that risk as you go.

yes. that thought stays in my mind all the time.

...and thanks for the support. I respect you and trust you, so it mean a lot to me.

I think Elektra Knight & Nez Zamorano have nice figures. I'll bet it took them years to get like that.

It was interesting to travel in both worlds as far as competition AND modeling went and I was privy to the best and worst in people involved in every aspect of both worlds.

Personally I never made it past local level when it came to competition. My first dose of reality was standing next to HeatherLee in the gym. We are about the same height. We hit the same poses and I was exhibit A "genetically inferior" and she was exhibit B "genetically SUPERIOR". LOL... Was humbling but definitely helped me keep my goals in check. She was just beginning her rise in competitive bodybuilding and the modeling. Me, I was trying to find a way to figure out my personal life and struggling to find a way to support myself and my children. Everything about her was above paar - her genetics, her beauty, her drive and her knowledge in training and all realms of supplementation. I remember cheering her on for her first real win (the pic where she is in the torquoise blue posing suit. I actually have that suit to this day and smile when I think of how she literally OBLITERATED the competition.) I mean there was no one else onstage. She won her class AND the overall. God, even her muscle-bellies were beautiful! hehehehehhee.

And I saw the down-side too.

I was working with Valentina Chepiga at The Arnolds in 2002 (I believe it was) and she actually asked to borrow one of my skimpy outfits because she HAD TO in order to get attention. I was AGHAST!!! Here was the reigning Ms Olympia and she felt the need to have her tits and ass hanging out so that people would just stop and take notice of her physique. I was embarrassed for all of the women there. Not the barbies who had their boobs glued into the skimpy tops, mind you. (There were more than enough of those around  ) But for a serious competitor like Valentina to feel and yield to that sort of pressure. I felt like it set us all way back. I mean, as a model or competitor your physique/body is your art and there is no shame in the human form. But for someone like the reigning Ms Olympia to feel that she has to literally have her tits and ass hanging out to get enough people to walk up to her... that STILL makes me shake my head.

My eyes were opened to A LOT about the industry that year and I can honestly say that by the time I left the US (and BOTH industries) in 2003 I felt that I no longer belonged in "that world". Though I enjoyed many aspects of both industries I can honestly say that I dont have many regrets walking away.

I don't think steroids changed her jawline. I have seen her in the last two O's. Lower bodyfat is the difference. A womens face looks signifigantly different when they drop bodyfat %. Here's an example....
Agreed 110% there is a big diffrence in my face the close I get to comp there leaner it appears the more jaw stands out.

I wish that everyone would understand this.

It is NOT steriods. It is about having nearly all the fat and water sucked out of your body. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BE "PRETTY" WHEN YOUR BODY IS IN THIS STATE.

When the pros and models do shoots. Their bodyfat is right around 15% bf or so. Otherwise their faces come off looking hard and manly.

This makes me think of Dena Westerfield at the Olympia. She dressed like a total hooker at the VIP Gala and also during "meet the fans". She had on stripper clothes and heels. wtf?? IMO, there was no need for that - it screamed "look at me", when she didn't really need those clothes to make people look at her.

Welcome to the industry - that is exactly what people go there to see. And frankly I bet lots of those girls enjoy the chance to wear those outfits. A huge attraction to the fitness / physique arena is exactly that "LOOK AT ME!!!" mindset.
