What do you guys eat to kill carvings on a low carb diet...

for getting rid of that feeling of "i gotta stuff something in my mouth" i usually eat a whole head of iceberg lettuce - it has almost zero nutritional value, since it's packed with water and fiber. but it fills you up very well and you are munching on something for quite some time.
 
Pork Rinds.

I like to mix half and half, whipped topping, vanilla, and my vanilla protein shake up. It actually tasted great, plus it makes me feel like i'm eating something I shouldn't be...


Get some buffalo chicken slices from bi-low/Ingles deli. Roll some up in some cheese, dip them in blue cheese dressing. MMMMMMM.

I run through about 15 dollars of that meat every week.
 
I am not sure why, but when I eat a meal of hard boiled eggs chopped with some bacon, a spponful of mayo and a sprinkle of scallions I have no cravings, hunger or desire for food for a long time. It seems to be "the" meal for not feeling hungry for me.

Another one almost as good is tuna patties.
1 can tuna (solid albacore is best)
1/3 cup minced celery
1tb minced scallions
1 very large egg or 2 small

mix together and fry as "patties" eat with mayo and dill. They kill my cravings, whereas other low carb foods I could eat all day long.

i had a major binge eating disorder this past winter.... i have just slowly got used to leaving food on the plate and walking away from the kitchen. i feel so much better not being full all the time.

for me it was just a matter of time before i forced myself to change. once the weather got warmer and i was able to go outside and do things i don't eat much. also the new girl keeps me busy.

just try everyday to have less and less of that binge meal. then you'll be able to have a piece of chicken, a baked potato and salad and go to bed. instead of eating the whole fridge after.
