What can I add to Brown rice for flavor?

I would add a mixture of tomates. peppers and onions...

You add it to cold rice and just mix it up..

crunchy rice = means it was not cooked or stired long enough....

BBQ = High in sugar

Do not be afraid to try different spices in it either...

I find Brown rice to be kind of bland sometimes. The brown rice I ate tonight was slightly crunchy, which made it a little more exciting (I don't know if it was overcooked, or if it was crunchy from cooking it, putting it in the refrigerator for a day, and reheating it--which do you think caused this?)

but, I'd like to find a healthy flavor to add to it. Salsa is preety good, but do you have any other ideas?

Good advice about adding a bit of water to the rice when reheating it. Other things I use:

-Butter Buds/Molly McButter- Original, Cheddar Cheese, Garlic Flavor
-A few shakes of Parm/Romano Cheese doesn't add many calories at all.
-Sauteed onions
-Curry powder or Southwest Seasoning
-A drop of tomato sauce. (Good with the cheese.)

And years ago I made a brown rice pudding with cooked brown rice, skim milk, vanilla/almond extract, splenda, and a few raisins/almonds for flavor. Turned out really good.

I've been adding cooked spinach, minced garlic, and some all purpose seasoning salt (ex. LAWRYS) to my brown rice lately. It tastes awesome.
