Weighted Ab Exercises -- Reps?

Just curious, how many reps will generally work for improving the bulk-size of the abdominal wall (so I get that deep-cut look once the fat is shed fully)?

Like, I know standing heel raises, to work calves, are generally good at 5x15 (they work for me)

So what would abs be? Set/Reps for both crunches and hanging hip raises (to target the lower abdominals)?

I do all kinds of reps. I go for sets of 20, sets of 15, 12, 10, all the way down to 3-5 reps. Why just think that ONE way will build them the best...always change.

I work in the 8-15 rep range when doing weighted abs..
You should probably listen to BFold tho... do a wide array...

Will do, but should I changeup every 6 weeks? Or every week, or... what? I mean, I figure you need to give your body sometime to adjust, so six weeks sounds adequate.

By the by, what about if I wanna do the 5x5 routine for longer after six weeks? I can't really change the reps, otherwise it wouldn't be a 5x5, now would it? ;)
