weetabix cereal

I was wondering if weetabix is a good source of carbs for bodybuilders and could be used instead of oatmeal for example.

There are no good or bad foods.... does that kind of breakdown fit into your aggregate needs over the course of the day? week? If it does, rock on: eat some.

This in fact is the bottom line on any food. Healthy is one thing, but if you eat everything that is healthy they say out there, chances are good you will overshoot your calorie needs.

Anything, no matter how good it is, must fit in your diet macros. Now if you are all out bulking, it probably does not matter.

I've been eating that stuff most days for years. Six every morning with semi-skimmed milk + sweetener and supps. Keeps me going to lunch.
 
Weetabix w/milk is also good for fixing holes in plaster. Dries hard as a rock. Actually whetabix is a good source of fiber and if you avoid dumping the sugar on it, makes a good complex carbohydrate for breakfast. I prefer oats or Kashi Go Lean myself, though.
 
If you read the nutrition facts on the weetabix box it has sugar on it and automatically is not a complex carb anymore
