I read that also a while back. Then I saw the article in the last few weeks on CNN that released the info on plastics regarding freezing and microwaving. If there is contradictory information on things like this I tend to avoid the situation.

Tap water filtered via a Brita. I notice a big time diff. in taste versus normal tap water, no question about that.

Bottled water tastes like Brita water to me, anyways.

Best water I've ever tasted----run off from a glacier in Waterton National park. The French Alps have nothing on the Canadian Rockies
