M mordy New member Mar 8, 2004 #1 Why is it, when i drink a good ammount of water before bed, that i wake up feeling more dehydrated then if i don't? I've experimented a couple times and its very consistent. water before sleep = feeling dry and thristy in the morning.

onerepmaximum New member Mar 8, 2004 #2 How much water do you usually drink during the day. Your body is just maybe trying to maintain homeostasis based on what it is used to. If you drink a lot of water, it is going to get rid of it quicker.

Forge New member Mar 8, 2004 #5 I actually keep a water bottle next to the bed, so if either the wife or I get thirsty we don't have to get up. I almost always wake up thirsty, and I drink a lot of water throughout the day.

W wtlftr New member Mar 8, 2004 #6 I drink about 1.75 gallons of h2o a day. With 32oz before bed. Never had the problem. Only to pee during the night.
