Types of veggies to eat with dinner

What do you guys usually throw into the mix? I have a freezer full of the green giant boxed package veggies. I dont really know if they are that healthy since they arent fresh. I have creamed spinach, corn, sweet peas, lima beans, broccoli ( i think the broccoli has a butter sauce and also some with cheese sauce). I think thats about it

well, throw out anything with cream or cheese sauce. Frozen broccoli is ok, but you should opt for fresh. I always have a few heads of broccoli on hand, and a package of fresh spinach, I also like fresh green beans. If you are balancing out your diet with veggies you should be going through enough that the fresh stuff won't be going bad.

I agree with this guy. You need to drop out any type of dressing you would put over your veggies, you need just the veggie its self. Canned and frozen are ok to eat, but fresh is better because fresh doesnt have all the preservatives and what not.

fresh should be best, but are often harvested too soon. Frozen can be harvested later allowing more time for proper ripening...but it's no guarantee. Growing your own or buying at a local farmers market would be the best option.

Broccoli, zuchini, brussel sprouts, yellow squash, tomatoes (grilled taste awesome), bell peppers...these are what I eat the most of. Pretty much all veggies are good. Whatever you can eat, but make sure to have variety. If you don't like them, learn to.

True, i guess not everyone knows how to tell if veggies and fruit are ripe enough yet. And some people just dont care.
